About this game

DiscDuel is a two-player reversi game you play together on a single phone. Sit across from a friend, pass the device back and forth, and settle a quick match on the classic 8x8 board. Dark and Light take turns placing discs, and every move flips the opponent's trapped rows into your own color.

The board does the bookkeeping so you can focus on the duel. Legal squares are highlighted for the side whose turn it is, so you always see where you can play. Tap a valid cell to drop your disc and watch every trapped line flip at once across all eight directions. The live disc count for Dark and Light updates after each move, keeping the tension high as the numbers swing right up to the final square.

When a side has no legal move, only the Pass button lights up and the turn returns to the opponent. Once neither player can move, or the board fills with 64 discs, the game ends and the winner is decided by who holds more discs. A clear result appears with the final score, and you can jump straight into a Rematch or head back to the menu.

Between games, DiscDuel keeps a running series score so you can see how many rounds each color has won. Play a best-of session in a coffee break or a long rivalry over many matches. You can reset the series score whenever you want a fresh start.

Features:
- Local two-player reversi on one screen, pass and play
- Standard 8x8 rules with highlighted legal moves
- Instant flips across all eight directions
- Live disc count and clear win, loss, or draw results
- Running series score for Dark and Light
- Optional sound: a short click on each placement and flip
- Works offline, with everything stored on your device

Whether you know it as reversi or othello, DiscDuel gives you the whole game in a clean, portrait layout. No computer opponent stands in your way here, just you and a friend deciding who reads the board better. Grab a phone, choose a color, and start the duel.
