I have another camera similar to this one that I got a few years ago and that one has the option to where you can only have it record when motion is detected. this camera doesn't offer any features like that and you basically have to pay in order to watch a live feed and unless you're watching it you can't photograph or record anything. the only alternative is the record in the morning and when I get back home stopped recording and watch hours of footage? no thanks!

Very limited features As others have pointed out, the free version of this app, when used with the corresponding hardware, does not allow motion detection, contrary to what is advertised. I have excellent Wi-Fi combined with a 900 Mbps up and down internet connection, but access to live images is slow and often faulty. The software is unusable and useless, but I have to admit that it reflects the hardware.

You are able to connect the device to your wifi but when trying live view from the cameras, it triggers a system restore and unlinks the camera from the wifi. I assume that you have to pay a subscription for this but this was not disclosed on the product description. The only thing you can do without the subscription is to connect to the device's wifi (device not connected to your home wifi) and have live feed directly one camera at a time.
