The service is used to detect when specific distracting screens appear (such as short-form video feeds like Reels or Shorts) and automatically block or close those screens based on the limits you set.
This allows Focsy to:
Detect when blocked apps or distracting in-app features are opened
Automatically block those screens or redirect you
Enforce focus sessions and app limits
The service is optional and must be manually enabled by the user in Android Accessibility settings. It can be disabled at any time.
Data Collection
Focsy may collect limited usage data when a user is logged into their account in order to provide features such as usage statistics, synchronization, and accountability tools.
When using the app as a guest, no personal data is collected or stored remotely.
Accessibility data is not used to collect personal messages, passwords, or sensitive information.
The Accessibility service must be manually enabled by the user in Android settings and can be disabled at any time.
