Forgeview is a local-first 3D model viewer for Android. Open GLB, glTF, FBX, OBJ, STL, PLY, 3MF, Collada, 3DS, supported USD variants, and BVH files. GLB is the recommended portable format.

Orbit, pan, zoom, frame, and reset the camera with controls designed for touch, desktop-style workflows, and foldable screens. Compare Studio, Neutral, and Dramatic lighting, toggle the grid, axes, and wireframe overlay, select objects from the hierarchy, and inspect triangle, vertex, draw-call, and texture counts.

When a file contains animation clips, play, pause, loop, change playback speed, scrub the timeline, and switch between clips. Rig view detects bones and skinned meshes, shows bone hierarchies, and lets you toggle skeleton helpers.

Files stay on your device. Forgeview does not provide cloud model storage and does not require an account. Related files such as glTF buffers, materials, and textures can be selected together. Proprietary project files such as Blender, 3ds Max, Maya, and Cinema 4D projects should be exported to GLB or glTF before opening.

Some formats may have limited support depending on the source file and browser/device capabilities.
