Used to be a really fantastic app, but ever since the Apple TV deal it has gotten super annoying. I pay for the membership but for some reason they play ads during the pre-show for the races now(2026), and I wouldn't mind it so much if it wasn't the same three ads every ten minutes. Not to mention the app is a massive battery drain. Just really disappointing now.

app is ok, but has constant issues with casting. if you only want to use this app to only watch f1, it's cluttered with f2 f3 and doesn't always open to the tv schedule. until you learn how to navigate the app it's annoying. if you want to watch on a TV, you'll need to use apple tv because, same as years past, they still can't figure out how to make it cast from phone to TV without constant buffering and freezing.

I'm using a Pixel 6. since linking my Apple TV account the brightness is way too low during F1 TV broadcasts. My phone brightness is turned all the way up but it still low in the app. there's no way to adjust this. also I can't adjust the video resolution. it automatically adjusts to a resolution lower than I want. worst of all is the ads that Play during non-racing segments. when I press the icon to fast forward 10 seconds the video will rewind several minutes.
