Play freely, share nothing. Fossling Piano turns your phone into a responsive piano keyboard with the sound of a real grand — for trying a chord, checking a pitch, or simply playing, and built so that blind and low-vision players are not left out.
🎹 THE WHOLE KEYBOARD
All 88 keys are there. The octave buttons move you across the full A0 to C8 range, and the view adapts to your screen width so every key stays big enough to hit.
🎵 THE SOUND OF A REAL PIANO
Each note comes from a recorded grand piano, not a synthesizer beep. Turn sustain on to let notes ring, off for a clean release.
🎶 CHORDS AND GLISSANDOS
Press several keys at once for a chord, or slide a finger across the keyboard for a glissando. Every finger is tracked on its own.
♿ ACCESSIBILITY FIRST, ALWAYS
Every key is announced by TalkBack and plays on double-tap. A haptic pulse confirms each press, with a distinct one on every C so you can feel where you are. Large-key mode, high contrast, and your system font size honored.
🔒 PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No network access, no permissions, no ads, no analytics. Nothing is recorded and nothing leaves your phone.
🌍 IN YOUR LANGUAGE
Show the note names on the keys — C D E in English, do ré mi in French — or hide them when you would rather just play. The app is available in English and French.
The piano sound comes from the Salamander Grand Piano sample set by Alexander Holm (https://freepats.zenvoid.org/Piano/acoustic-grand-piano.html), used under the Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 license (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/). The samples were trimmed, faded out and compressed to Ogg Vorbis for this app.
