FoxCloud is a client monitoring software for photovoltaic power plants. It can interact with power plants remotely and wirelessly to obtain operating parameters such as power generation capacity, power generation revenue, equipment status, and equipment information.

Ratings and reviews

The real-time information isn't real time. At first viewing the app looks great, if a little tedious to go through various steps to get the data needed. The "Read Time" information was staying the same when turning on the kettle and found out you need to actually log out and back in to refresh the kwh being used. The app seems to cater for several sites, but the average home owner would only have 1 inverter installed, so the app needs a lot of improvements.

I agree with all the other negative reviews. Terrible software. Unreliable connection and data reporting. Unnecessary number of logins and clicks all the time. It also shows more power coming out of the inverter than going in, which is a neat trick. I run a software development team and if we'd built software this bad I'd fire the team then fire myself!

App works satisfactorily. Agree with other reveiws, requires far too many clicks to reach the battery statistics. Would very much like ability to set battery charge level, within the charge time period. Can be done on inverter itself but "in App"ability would be much more useable. Also a more granular view of battery statistics (charge, discharge, grid consumption etc), or ability to zoom in on certain times of the day. It's hard to view on a mobile phone screen
