Ratings and reviews

The information it provides and the controls it promises look good. OK, they may take some getting used to. But the big failure here is it doesn't work. The programmed work modes don't work as the should. Some settings change without input to do so. Bottom line is I've lost control of my battery. I understand the problem is firmware. The would be inconvenient if I'd been warned an instructed what to do. But to just change an not give warning and support is seriously poor customer service.

The readable graphs are back, so two stars. However, they now have firmware updates where they won't tell us what is in the updates. Additionally, it seems the servers are slightly more reliable recently but they won't give us direct access in case something is offline. Generally the app is hard to figure out, e.g. exactly what modes will do. No examples given about exactly how things work.

Force charging issues, I was originally able to force charge but after less than 6 months of having the battery I can no longer force charge. Fox ess, I couldn't speak to them on the phone I have up being on hold, no reply to my email, and only rely to 2 out off 6 tickets and issue still not solved. Both the company I purchased the battery from and the electrician who installed it have both said its probably a simple software update. There is no after sales service.
