Finding it very good for reading the office text books I have as it shows all the pictures in the book not just parts of them as adobe does. However I can't get the screen to remain on when reading so the screen dims then turns off so I have to keep touching the screen all the time! If anyone knows how to set it so the screen stays awake while reading (even setting the time to sleep screen to a longer period) that would be helpful! Changes made and it's awesome. Preferred pdf reader by far
FIXED: Will no longer open any docs I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4, and until the latest update, this app worked perfectly for me, allowing for syncing with Dropbox and easy highlighting and notes. After the update, highlighting became more difficult, but no worse than the Kindle app. But for the last few days, this app has refused to open any docs at all. Whether I download them from Dropbox or open them from my device, it always just gives the message, "Unfortunately, Foxit PDF has stopped" and it closes. EDIT: It's been fine for months now!
A truly 5 star app!! I have tried 7 different pdf readers on the Android platform (each of them rated 4 and above on the Play store), and have not found something better suited for my needs. The one thing I think needs to be developed is the ability to manage books and magazines. TY Foxit team
I love this app in terms of highlighting, reviewing and making notes. I love the fact that you can pin a tool, It's better than Adobe's pdf reader in that sense. The one thing i keep having problems with is online syncing, i can't even access the cloud because it always throws an error. The other thing that's bothering me that i don't think happened in previous versions, is having to save a second copy of every document before editing them
Smoother than other pdf readers. I have a few problems with annotation though. One is that you have to go out of the tool you're currently using just to undo something. Second, font size of the typewriter tool is too big and while you can change it, you have to do so every single time you use it, which can be cumbersome. Also on the typewriter tool, the text box it creates cannot be resized, which can be annoying especially since it splits words between lines.
The only app I could find (I downloaded 5 others) that made it a snap to fill out my American Airlines damaged luggage pdf. It's the easiest and quickest app by far better then Adobe's or Samsungs or the others!
