AppLock protects access to the apps you choose with a PIN,
on both your phone and your Android/Google TV.

HOW IT WORKS
You choose which apps to protect from a simple list of the apps installed
on your device. Every time someone tries to open one of those apps,
AppLock will ask for the PIN before allowing access.

PHONE AND TV, DESIGNED FOR EACH
The app isn't just the same screen stretched across two sizes: the phone version is designed for touch use, and the Android/Google TV version has its own numeric keypad that can be navigated with the remote control, without relying
on the system keyboard.

INSTANT DETECTION
Unlike other locking apps that periodically check which app is open (with the delay that this creates), AppLock detects the app switch instantly, so the PIN appears immediately.

YOUR PIN NEVER LEAVES THE DEVICE
The PIN is stored encrypted directly on your device. AppLock has no servers, does not upload your PIN or the list of locked apps anywhere, and does not use accessibility permission to read the content of your other apps—only to know which one is open.

Ideal for:
- Preventing other people at home from opening apps you don't want to share
- Restricting access to shopping, banking, or social media apps
- Controlling which apps can be opened on the family TV

AppLock is intentionally simple: it does one thing and does it well.

WHY DOES APPLOCK NEED THE ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE?

AppLock uses the AccessibilityService API to detect when you open an app you've chosen to protect. At that moment, it displays the lock screen to ask for your PIN before granting access.

This feature is the core of AppLock and is not possible without this permission.

The app DOES NOT:
- Collect or share your personal data.

- Record what you type or see on the screen.

- Perform actions on your behalf without your consent.

- Prevent you from uninstalling or disabling apps.

All processing occurs locally on your device. AppLock only reads the package name of the foreground app to determine if it's protected. You can revoke this permission at any time from Settings > Accessibility.
