******************************************************************* This is a review of the app, not the John Fredericks Network. I enjoy John Fredericks Network content. I primarily listen to Outside the Beltway and War Room. ******************************************************************* This app needs work. My biggest gripe is the instability when my listening device, which is my Samsung GS21, switches from a WIFI connection to LTE connection. Typically in the evenings I take a walk and listen to the evening War Room. I will connect my phone to my BT ear buds, and while the GS21 is on WIFI, I fire up the app and I start streaming. All is good. Audio comes thru my BT earbuds. Once I walk outside and the WIFI network connection is broken, after about a minute, the app cuts out. It can take a staggering amount of time, upwards of 2 minutes for the app to reconnect and realize that the network switched from WIFI to LTE. Sometimes if I look at the app, when it is in this transition state a white box will pop up saying there is no network connection available. However, if I force close the app and open it back up, it will start streaming again no issue. At the end of my walks when coming back into my home goin from LTE back to WIFI, there is no drop in stability and I keep on streaming. Seems like only going WIFI to LTE is there an issue. Second issue and I do not think this is an app issue per se but it still is an experience issue. Seems like there are a lot of times when listening to the stream, especially when ads are run, that sometimes, the audio goes dead. Almost like, the feed itself from the radio network that is streamed, has failed and someone needs to restart it. I get that this app is just a stream of one of the John Fredericks radio stations and that is fine. When it works, it does what it is supposed to do. But when it doesn't, it is a pain. Hopefully the stability issues will be figured out. Going forward, would be cool if content from the Rumble stream could be integrated into the app or even a video stream when offered. Just a thought.

The app works great. I love that I can listen to the War Room with the screen of my phone turned off. I just wish it had android auto. when I plug my phone into the car I have to manually switch to Bluetooth to listen. For safety's sake it would be great to have this update. I would probably listen to the app more if it had that.

I'd give it 5 stars because it serves its purpose which is streaming the radio network. Thankfully you don't have to sign in to listen because thats where the issue is. Anytime i want tk use the chat i have to sign in everytime. Sign in with fakebook might work but lot of people who are using this app either closed or never had a account. So most of the rest of the app I don't use because of the sign in issue.
