About this app

The FreeStyle Libre Link app is compatible with the FreeStyle Libre and FreeStyle Libre 2 sensor systems. You can check your glucose by scanning the sensor with your phone. FreeStyle Libre 2 sensor users can now get automatic glucose readings in the FreeStyle Libre Link app, updated every minute, and receive alerts when their glucose level is low or high. [2][1]

You can use the FreeStyle Libre Link app to:

* View your current glucose reading, glucose trend arrow, and historical glucose reading data

[2] * Receive alerts for high or low glucose using FreeStyle Libre 2 sensors
* Add notes to track your food, insulin doses used, and exercise
* View reports such as time in range and daily patterns
* Share your data with your doctor and family with your permission [3]

Smartphone Compatibility
Compatibility may vary between phones and operating systems. Learn more about compatible phones at http://FreeStyleLibre.com

Using Your App and Reader with the Same Sensor
Alarms can only be triggered on your Freestyle Libre 2 reader or your phone (not both). To receive alerts on your phone, you must start the sensor using the app. To receive alerts on your Freestyle Libre 2 reader, you must start the sensor using your reader. Once you start the sensor using the reader, you can also use your phone to scan the sensor.

Remember that the app and reader do not share data. For complete information on any device, scan your sensor every 8 hours using that device; otherwise, your reports will not include all the data. You can download and view the data on all your devices at LibreView.com.
