About this app

The FreeStyle LibreLink application is approved for use with the FreeStyle Libre and FreeStyle Libre 2 sensors. You can check your glucose value by reading the sensor with your phone. Now FreeStyle Libre 2 sensor users can get automatic glucose readings in the FreeStyle LibreLink app, update them every minute, and receive alarms when glucose levels are low or high. [1]

You can use FreeStyle LibreLink to:

* Displays current glucose readings, trend arrows, and glucose history readings
* Receive low or high glucose alarms using the FreeStyle Libre 2 sensor
* View reports, such as time in ranges and daily patterns
* Sharing information with your doctor and family with your permission

SMARTPHONE COMPATIBILITY
Compatibility may vary by phone and operating system. Learn more about compatible phones at http://FreeStyleLibre.com.

USING THE APPLICATION AND THE READER WITH THE SAME SENSOR
Alarms can only be triggered on the FreeStyle Libre 2 reader or on the phone (not both). To receive alarms on your phone, you must activate the sensor using the app. To receive alarms on the FreeStyle Libre 2 reader, you must trigger the sensor with the reader. After the sensor is activated by the reader, you can also read that sensor with your phone.

The application and the reader do not share data with each other. For complete information on the device, read the sensor with the device every 8 hours, otherwise the reports will not contain all your data. You can transfer all data from all your devices to the LibreView.com portal and view them there.
