Minute Blood Glucose Readings

The FreeStyle LibreLink app is approved for use with the FreeStyle Libre and FreeStyle Libre 2 system sensors. Now you can scan your smartphone sensor to check your blood glucose. Now users of the FreeStyle Libre 2 system sensor can get automatic, minute-by-minute blood glucose readings from the FreeStyle LibreLink app, and receive alerts when their blood glucose levels are low or high. The FreeStyle LibreLink app can be used to:

* View current blood glucose readings, trend arrows, and blood glucose history
* Receive low or high blood glucose alarms with the FreeStyle Libre 2 system sensor [2]
* Add notes to track food, insulin doses, and exercise
* View reports such as time in range, daily patterns
* Share data with doctors and family with your permission [3]

Use the app and reader with the same sensor
You can trigger alarms from either the FreeStyle Libre 2 reader or your phone (not both). To receive alarms from your phone, you must start the sensor with the app. To receive alarms from the FreeStyle Libre 2 reader, you must start the sensor with the reader. Once the sensor is running as a reader, you can also scan the sensor with your phone.

Please note that the app and the reader do not share data with each other. To ensure complete information from your device, scan the sensor with your device every 8 hours. Otherwise, all data will not be included in the reports. You can upload and view all of your device data at LibreView.com.
