About this app

The FreeStyle LibreLink app is approved for use with FreeStyle Libre and FreeStyle Libre 2 sensors. Now you can check your glucose by reading your sensor with your mobile phone or use FreeStyle Libre 2 sensors to receive alarms when your glucose is low or high. [1] [2]

You can use the FreeStyle LibreLink app to:

* View your current glucose reading, trend arrow and glucose history
* Receive low or high glucose alarm with FreeStyle Libre 2 sensors [2]
* View reports such as Time in Range and Daily Patterns
* Share your data with your healthcare professional and family, with your permission

Compatibility may vary by mobile phones and operating systems. Learn more about compatible phones at

Alarms can only be generated on your FreeStyle Libre 2 player or your mobile phone (not both). To receive alarms on your mobile phone, you must launch the sensor with the app. To receive alarms on your FreeStyle Libre 2 reader, you must start the sensor with the reader. Once the sensor has been started with the reader, you can also read that sensor with the mobile phone.

Remember that the application and the player do not share data with each other. For complete information on a device, read the sensor every 8 hours with that device, otherwise your reports will not include all your data. You can upload and view data from all your devices at

The FreeStyle LibreLink is intended to measure glucose levels in people with diabetes when used with a sensor. For more information on how to use FreeStyle LibreLink, see the User's Manual, which you can access through the application. If you need a printed version of the User's Manual, please contact Abbott Diabetes Care Customer Support.

[1] If you are using the FreeStyle LibreLink app, you will also need access to a blood glucose monitoring system, as the app does not include one.

[2] The alarms you receive do not include your glucose reading, so you must read the sensor to check your glucose.

[3] Using FreeStyle LibreLink and LibreLinkUp requires LibreView subscription.
