About this app

Freeya is the fun and effortless way to give your things a second life. List them, set them out, and let your neighbors take them home.

Built for Free
Freeya is not a marketplace or a selling app. Everything, from posting items to arranging pick ups to the feed of items, was designed specifically for easily giving and getting free stuff.

Super Fast Posting
List a single item or an entire pile in seconds. Snap an image, describe (if needed), post and and let the app take it from there. No coordinating, no messaging, no negotiating.

Pickups Simplified
See something you want? For most posts, tap to claim it and it's yours. For scheduled pickups, you'll suggest a time and the poster confirms, eliminating the back and forth.

Customizable Browsing
You choose how to “shop”. Toggle between list and map view, set your filters, and zero in on exactly what you're looking for.

Smart Notifications
Freeya keeps you in the loop only when it matters, giving you just the updates you actually need.

Be the First to Know
Looking for something specific? Set a search alert and get notified the moment a neighbor gives one away.

Community Minded
Every item passed along is a small act of generosity. A thank you note after pickup makes sure your neighbors know it.

Our Story
Freeya was founded by the team behind Chip Drop. Connecting neighbors through reuse is the whole reason we exist. Building the best version of Freeya is an ongoing commitment, and your feedback is a big part of how we get there. We'd love to hear from you at [e-mail].

Ratings and reviews

Freeya is a great concept and the app is awesome. Super straight forward and easy to use. It's a great way to get items into the hands of people who want them. I've gotten a lot of great stuff on here and have given away things I didn't need anymore, saving me trips to Goodwill. Highly recommend if you're in one of their markets like PDX or Seattle.

Works but time sitting options could be more robust to help with both parties. Like if you can only have someone pick up an item at certain time only have those days and times listed for item pickup.

I've got some really great items from this app. and it's organized well so that you don't show up at a place and the stuff's gone. highly recommend
