About this app

The companion app connects to your device using your Wi-Fi network. As long as you are connected to the same Wi-Fi network you can control your connected audio device from anywhere in your home.


Pin your favourite audio content (podcasts, radio stations and on-demand audio) to the ‘My Audio’ section of the app homescreen for quick and easy access. Use the app to select the audio source you want to play, discover new audio, change the volume and audio settings, and turn your connected audio device on or off. With customisable presets available for each source, you can quickly select a different station or song without having to search for it.

Supported audio sources include Radio (Internet Radio, DAB, FM Radio), On-demand services (Spotify Connect, Amazon Music, Deezer, Podcasts) and Input (Line Input, Bluetooth, USB). The sources available in OKTIV depend on the functionality of your connected audio device.

Essentially good and useful; pretty straightforward to use. Occasionally loses link to device which would be understandable if I was using different devices but I only have one. The ability to favourite tracks on USB and make playlists from USB music would be great, at the moment there's very little functionality relating to USB which I use to protect me from the vagaries of streaming services that add and remove music on a whim.

Great when it connects to the radio, which is rare. This issue seemed to have been fixed for a few happy weeks, but following a firmware update to my radio it has reverted to failing 9 times from 10 or even not connecting at all. Also has an irritating habit of connecting to devices it isn't compatible with.

I was prompted to install this app when opening the Undok app. Oktiv reports "Connected audio device not compatible" for all of my Roberts audio devices - RS-1 (x 4), R-,100, R-1, iStream 3 & SB-1. Completely useless!!! Luckily Undok still works well most of the time, albeit with a few foibles, but I know how to deal with the issues & they can be sorted out quickly.
