About this app

Featured by Apple as "New and Noteworthy" and "Staff Favorite".

Tempo is the premier mobile metronome app. It is used daily by performing artists for their gigs, teachers in their lessons, students for their practices and even golfers and bodybuilders in their training.

Tempo gives you the features you need without sacrificing usability. Its engine is written from the ground up for high accuracy and stability. Over that is wrapped an attractive and comprehensive single-screen interface. Flashing LEDs also serve as buttons to customize beats, enabling the creation of complex rhythms. So far, so good. It fits my needs. The only issue is that I have to repurchase it. Originally, I bought it via the Amazon Appstore, but it never got updated, so I can't install it on my new tablet (with a higher OS version). I searched and found it on the Google Play Store, and the price is reasonable. It's cheaper than most metronome apps, and the features meet my needs. Thanks!

I have used this app since day 1 of it's release. It has been a staple in my practice for years... With that said...2 things to get it to 5 stars. 1. For the timer function add an alert sound when time is reached. 2. Tempo with decimal point settings allowing for precise tempo setting... Example: 120.1 to 120.9 for the exact tempo in a song. bonus feature: Allow Mp3 files to be added to the setlist.. bonus bonus: auto tempo detection of the mp3's in said setlist...😊👍🏼

Never changes or improves. Android experience is pretty bad on Pixel 10 Pro XL. Screen never loads when I first open, but tapping away to another screen and back forces it to properly load. All menus stretch beyond the bounds of the screen. Looking for a replacement after many years.
