About this app

Cellflow shows how much current your phone's battery is using right now, and its temperature, on a home-screen widget.

WHAT YOU SEE
• Discharging: the current the phone is drawing from the battery (mA)
• Charging: the widget switches to the charging current
• Battery temperature, in orange and red when it gets hot (°C or °F)
• Power (W), voltage and battery level on larger widgets
• In the app: a big live reading, a 2-minute current graph, power, voltage and level

TIME LEFT
• While discharging: about how long until the battery is empty at the current rate
• While charging: about how long until your charge target
• Set the target to 70, 80, 85, 90 or 100% (handy if you prefer not to charge to 100%)
• Estimates use the current averaged over about a minute, so they settle quickly

HOME-SCREEN WIDGET
• Resizable from small to large
• Refreshes every 1, 2, 5 or 10 seconds while the screen is on
• Tap it to open the app
• A quiet status notification shows the same readings

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No internet permission, no ads, no account, no analytics. Nothing leaves your phone

LANGUAGES
English, 日本語, Français, Deutsch (switch inside Settings)

NOTES
• Values are what your phone reports. Some models average the current or report it with a delay. Cellflow learns the unit and direction of the current from readings taken while unplugged
• Time left is an estimate
• To update every few seconds, the app runs a foreground service with a status notification, only while the screen is on and at least one widget is placed. For the most reliable updates, exclude Cellflow from battery optimization in system settings
Live battery current and temperature widget, with time to empty or charge.

What’s new

Fixes the widget not updating until you tapped it.
• The widget now starts reliably when you add it to the home screen
• If Android stops the updates in the background, a "Tap to resume" notification appears
• On adding the widget, Cellflow explains how to exclude it from battery optimization
