WHY FARSIGHT

Most virtual tabletops ask you to retrain how you run the table. Farsight does not. You keep your maps, your books, and your style. The app gives you initiative, scenes, encounters, an AI assistant, and player alerts, and it mirrors only what you choose onto the big screen.

WHAT YOU GET

- Scene Canvas: pen (with S Pen and stylus pressure support), shapes, text, and images, synced instantly to the player display. Blank the screen with one tap. Share an image from any app directly onto the canvas.
- Combat Tracker: initiative with active-turn glow, conditions, death save tracker, drag-to-reorder, and quick-roll chips for monster attacks and saves mid-combat. Players see only what you reveal.
- Encounter Builder: assemble fights, gauge difficulty, and run them straight from the table.
- GM Toolkit: 60+ reference panels, conditions, roll tables, generators, and a dice overlay. Send any panel or statblock to the player display as a handout with one tap.

- Session Tools: two-way private messaging between GM and players, Break Time with a ready-check countdown, image sharing mid-session, and X-Card safety signals so players can privately flag discomfort without breaking the flow.
- AI GM Assistant: ask rules questions mid-combat, generate encounters, build monsters, and scan stat blocks. Requires a free Google sign-in; 25 starter tokens included. AI is entirely optional — the rest of the app works without it.
- Player Alerts: compose styled overlays (info, warning, danger) with speaker attribution, auto-dismiss timers, and saved presets — then push them to the big screen instantly.

The player display runs on a Raspberry Pi, a Mac, a PC, or a Linux box, turning any TV or monitor into a player-facing canvas. Players can also run Farsight in Player Mode on their own Android or iOS device for a native phone or tablet view. Pair with a QR code, then play offline at any table. Session data never leaves your local network.
