About this app

Klockit brings the satisfying ritual of a vintage wall-mounted time clock straight to your pocket, purpose-built for freelancers and independent contractors who need a straightforward way to track work across multiple clients. Every interaction is designed to feel tactile and deliberate, from the brass-inspired dashboard badges to the punch card session records. The Home tab serves as your command center, presenting a complete weekly dashboard that counts total sessions logged and total hours accumulated, right alongside the three most recent entries for quick reference. When you are ready to start working, the Timer tab lets you select an existing client name and start a live clock with moving hands that mirror your active session. Stopping the timer instantly creates a new work session stamped with the exact elapsed duration, eliminating manual calculations. The History tab keeps a chronological, searchable list of every session you have ever recorded, with a simple swipe-to-delete action to keep your log tidy and relevant. For a high-level view, the Clients tab intelligently groups all sessions by client name and displays the total hours dedicated to each, giving you immediate visibility into where your time goes. Tapping any client reveals a filtered breakdown of only their sessions, making it effortless to review or reference past work. All of this data remains securely stored on your device alone, because Klockit operates fully offline with no account sign-ups, no cloud syncing, and no external dependencies. Navigating the app feels like pulling levers on an antique machine, where the bottom tab bar is a row of four metal control levers, and the active one presses down with a polished brass shine and a glowing red indicator light. Your work sessions appear as cream-colored punch cards stacked in a central slot, with dashboard figures embossed like stamped metal badges. Klockit replaces complex timesheet software with a focused, visually warm environment that respects your privacy and simply helps you track billable hours without distraction. Whether you are logging a quick phone call or a full day of project work, each recorded session becomes part of a clean, tangible history you can trust. It is the lightweight time log that makes clocking in feel like a meaningful part of your daily workflow.
