BacklineLedger turns your phone into the pegboard wall of your rehearsal space, giving everyone a clear view of the band's shared gear. Instantly see which microphones, cables, stands, and instruments are ready to use, out on loan, or waiting for a repair. The Dashboard greets you with chalkboard-style counters that show your total gear count, how many items are currently borrowed, and what needs fixing. A quick-glance list of the last three borrowed pieces lets you know exactly who took the DI box home after practice. Browse your complete inventory from the All Gear tab, where every item is displayed as a hanging tag with its category and current status. Adding new equipment is effortless using the floating plus button; just fill in the item name, pick a category, and assign its status. When a bandmate needs to borrow a floor tom or a spare XLR cable, switch the item to On Loan and record their name right in the tag. The Borrowed tab isolates everything that is currently away, so you can remind someone to return the gear or mark it as returned with a single tap. The Repairs tab shows you a dedicated list of gear that needs attention, each marked with a prominent red dot so nothing gets overlooked. Once you fix a broken pedal or re-solder a jack, use the Mark Fixed action to restore the item to Available status. Editing or updating any piece of gear is just as simple, helping you keep your inventory accurate as gear moves between members and gigs. All your equipment data is stored right on your device, so the app works completely offline in the basement, storage unit, or wherever you practise. There are no accounts, no cloud syncing, and no distractions; just a private logbook that stays with the band. Whether you manage a community music group's loaner instruments or share a rehearsal room with three other bands, BacklineLedger helps you stop losing track of what belongs to everyone.
