About this app

Build an ESP32 device in ESP-GenUI, flash it, and control it from your phone. There is no companion app to write and none to publish — this one renders whatever your device asks for.

HOW IT WORKS

Your board doesn't need an app of its own. Firmware generated by ESP-GenUI describes its own interface, and this app builds that interface on the fly over Bluetooth Low Energy. Change your diagram, re-flash, reopen the device — the controls change with it.

WHAT YOU CAN CONTROL

• Switches, buttons, sliders, steppers, dropdowns and color pickers
• Live gauges, progress bars, status badges and alerts
• Charts, tables and device logs, streamed from the board
• Servos and NeoPixel strips
• Weekly schedules that keep running on the device while your phone is away
• A clock your phone sets, so a device with no network still keeps time
• Stored settings you can read and edit, and forms that write them back
• Files on the device's flash or SD card: browse, download, delete
• Rename a device, or reboot it

WI-FI SETUP OVER BLUETOOTH

Devices built for Wi-Fi can be put on your network from here. Enter the network name and password once, over a paired and encrypted Bluetooth link — no captive portal, no hunting for a temporary access point, no credentials typed into a web page.

It is a companion to ESP-GenUI, not a general-purpose Bluetooth tool.
