this used to be one of my most used apps but now ads have overrun it and made it unusable. I often set alarms to remind me of something but by the time the like minute long ad is over (and they force you to click into the advertiser's sketchy link >.>) I've forgotten what it was I needed to set an alarm for. gonna switch to another app.

Praise for the App - Galarm Does what it claims Works like a charm. 07/15/25 : App began playing ads. Pop-up statement says it will try to keep ads to one per day. Ads appear throughout the day . Looking for new reminder app. This app always had bugs, but overall it did the job. And it was free. Wish I could afford the premium version. But alas, I can't.

I appreciate that reminders are easy to set up with an hourly repeat option, which is hard to find. However, having to manually turn off my phone's screen after I tap the alarm off is a big hassle (the button is on the back of my phone, so I have to drop whatever else I'm doing to pick it up), and will probably lead me to eventually choose a different app. If the screen was off when the alarm hit, it should turn itself back off after I tap DONE.
