Arrow Coil is a board packed with long winding arrows, and every one of them is
looking for a way out.
Tap an arrow and its head sets off in the direction it points, with the whole
body following along the same track like a train on rails, until the tail
clears the grid. If something is standing in the way it bumps, slides back to
exactly where it started, and costs you a heart.
Clear every arrow and the level is done.
HOW TO PLAY
- Tap any arrow, anywhere along its length
- It leaves if the straight line ahead of its head is clear
- Its body does not matter, however long or tangled it is
- Three hearts a level, and a blocked tap costs one
THE WHOLE PUZZLE IN ONE SENTENCE
Whether an arrow can leave depends only on the straight run ahead of its head.
So the work is not planning a sequence - it is spotting, among dozens of
crossing lines, which arrows actually have a clear way out. Every level opens
with some that do, and most that do not.
YOU CAN NEVER GET STUCK
A blocked tap puts the arrow back exactly where it was, so the board only ever
changes when an arrow leaves - and taking an arrow away can only clear a path,
never create a new obstruction. A level that could be finished when it started
stays finishable no matter what order you play it in. There is no shuffle
button because there is nothing to shuffle.
