Folder Music Player & 3D Visualizer is an offline-focused audio player designed specifically for direct, directory-based music playback. Optimized for both portrait smartphones and landscape car head units (including Navifly, UIS, FYT, and standard double-din Android stereos), it bypasses complex database scans to let you play music directly from your physical folder structures.
KEY FEATURES
Direct Folder Navigation: Play music exactly as you organized it on your internal memory, SD card, or connected external USB drives. Bypasses database scanning for instant load times even on large libraries.
Real-Time 2D & 3D Audio Visualizers: Features an interactive suite of 29 visual equalizer styles. These include classic neon spectrum bars, glowing circular halos, 3D receding tunnels, perspective horizon wave grids, rotating 3D helices, and more.
Interactive Full-Screen Player: Access a full-screen display containing large cover art, track metadata, progress seekbar scrubbing, and a live audio equalizer. Simply tap on the visualizer area to cycle between different active effects.
Dashboard-Optimized Large Controls: Trigger a larger-sized control panel with giant, easily clickable navigation buttons designed to be safe and ergonomic while driving.
Favorites Management: Easily star your favorite tracks inside the list or directly within the player popups. Access all your starred songs via the virtual "★ Starred Music" folder placed at the top of your directory.
Multi-Orientation Native Layouts: Features custom responsive layouts for both Portrait (vertical) and Landscape (horizontal) screens. Avoids stretched assets or cut-off metadata text regardless of how your screen is rotated.
Steering Wheel Integration (SWC): Integrated with Android's MediaSession and Audio Focus APIs to route steering wheel buttons (single tap to skip track, double tap to skip folder/album) on compatible car units.
Offline State Persistence: Automatically saves your exact folder, active song index, and millisecond playback position on pause, minimization, or app closure, restoring your session exactly where you left off.
PRIVACY & PERMISSIONS
To provide proper offline playback and graphic visualization, this application requests the following standard permissions:
READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: Required to locate, parse, and play audio files stored on your local folders, SD card, or connected USB drives.
RECORD_AUDIO: Required exclusively by Android's native audio capture framework to read real-time frequency values for driving the visual equalizers. This application does not record, save, or transmit any microphone data. The rendering loop is processed locally and works entirely offline.
