About this game

My son started learning Go at seven. One lesson a week at the dojo, and he wanted
to keep practising at home - but I could not find an app I was comfortable handing
him. Sign-in walls, ads, recurring subscriptions. So I wrote this one.

Learning Go for the first time? Start here: follow a clear path from placing stones, liberties and captures to capture-1,
capture-3 and capture-5 challenges, then a guided introduction to territory on 9x9.

Organised by theme - liberties, atari and capture, connect and cut, shape, snapback,
shortage of liberties, net, squeeze, semeai, life and death. The collection includes
420 explained beginner rule exercises across ten units. Layered hints and explanations
help you understand why a move works, not just where to play.

9x9, 13x13 AND 19x19
Use 9x9 to learn captures and territory or finish a shorter game, 13x13 for fighting
and middlegame practice, and 19x19 for the full Go experience. Chinese rules,
adjustable komi, undo, pass, resign and move hints are always within reach.

AI play, training and review continue to work offline after installation. Purchases
and configuration updates require a connection.
