99% pay to win. 1% free to play. $4.99 minimum for packs and goes up to $99.99. I find the game fairly unique and interesting. You must join a guild to have any kind of competitive chance, as you have to "rally" against stronger NPC ships and other player controlled guilds. I warn against dropping real money on this game if you can't afford it. The power you buy might seem large at first, but it's a never ending cycle of throwing money at the game to "feel stronger". Game is clear about it

An actually original game! It is honestly nothing like the ads, which is unfortunate. I was looking forward to some of the gameplay in the ads. It does require a connection, kind of lame, I don't always have signal. I ended up uninstalling the game after some pay to play guy kept attacking me. It just got annoying and there was no way to block it, so I stopped playing.

the graphics are amazing, game play is super fun, the tutorial is easy to understand but it's long and you can't skip which sucks, the game has awful lag and many bugs and are there are constant updates which is frustrating, but overall it's still a great game/app, but be advised if you expect to advance at a competitive rate you've gotta be committed to activity at least 2-3 times a day for at least an hour each time. Can play for free, but In-app purchases definitely help.
