I so badly want there to be an alternative to Discord. This app isn't it. Failed to open on mobile over half the time, now it won't open at all. Notifications never come through. New messages don't load unless you switch servers to force a refresh. Only one image upload at a time from the app, with limited text entry. Emoji organization is a mess. I paid for a server for months, and not one update to the mobile app came through. I sincerely have nothing positive to say for this application.

This app is great and it has the potential to rival Discord but sadly I'm going to wait for future updates when the app is more advanced. I'll keep using discord for a bit but I hope I can change to gamevox entirely. Also, changing the name to something that screams what the app does and is catchy can be good branding, something like "Voxchat" (voice+chat)

This app is fantastic. I’m going to try convincing my friends on Discord to switch, though that may be the hardest part. I saw someone suggest changing the name and branding. While that is not especially important to me, strong branding does help attract users. I hate to criticize the creator’s choice, but “Gamevox” does not have much appeal. Maybe something like "Mintspace" as a parody to MySpace? Aside from that, the platform is great & the Discord import feature is incredibly convenient.
