About the HAIKYU!! Animation Series

Bringing together all that was practiced (our youth), to the promised land…

HAIKYU!! is a highly renowned title within the sports manga genre. Created by Haruichi Furudate, the manga began serialization in Shueisha’s “Weekly Shōnen Jump” magazine from February 2012. It gathered popularity with its depiction of the youthful passion of high school students giving their all to volleyball. Across 8 and a half years, the series continued until its conclusion in July 2020 with a total of 45 volumes published and over 70 million copies sold. Starting in 2014, the TV animation series was broadcasted on TBS TV by Mainichi Broadcasting System (MBS) until December 2020, resulting in a total of 4 seasons created for the series. Now, coming February 16, 2024,
HAIKYU!! will be making a comeback with a new movie!! The movie will depict the epic match between Karasuno High School and Nekoma High School, one of the most popular arcs from the original series. Otherwise known as the “Decisive Battle at the Garbage Dump”. Now, at the promised land, a match where there’s no “second chances” is about to begin…

Haikyuu!! Fly High is really fun and the visuals are amazing, the animations feel just like the anime and the voice acting makes it even better. Team building and strategy are cool, and short matches make it easy to play anytime. But the battles end too quickly, the gacha feels grindy, and sometimes it gets repetitive. Please add longer matches, more variety, and better rewards. Still, this game is one of the best volleyball anime games I’ve played.

i have a few things holding it back from 5 stars. My biggest issue is when the ball goes out. i would like to see them attempt a save instead of giving a free point. Next I dislike how nishinoya will use his ultimate for a basic overhand receive hes good but they should make it so the higher your star level, the less stamina he uses. my final thing is the game crashes but I've noticed on lower graphics it mostly fixes the issue. occasionally the game will freeze but overall amazing free to play.

F2P success is possible with this game. It is actually fairly generous and, at the very least, you can be successful without having to pay into the game. You may only be getting a few pulls a week, but it doesn't prevent you from succeeding because the balance of the game is such that even lower-grade/tier characters can succeed. I run an all Date tech team, and I beat teams with UR characters on them all the time. I may not be top-tier, but I don't have to be to get adequate rewards.
