About this app

FinAI turns photos and everyday phrases into organized financial records. Track expenses and income, scan receipts, invoices, and payslips, and check your balance in an app built to reduce repetitive entry while keeping every detail visible.

CAPTURE DOCUMENTS WITH AI
Take a photo or choose an image. FinAI can extract the merchant or issuer, date, invoice number, total, subtotal, tax IDs, taxes, and product lines. It also recognizes income documents such as payslips and sales invoices.

Every reading is checked before it affects your finances. Coherent records are saved automatically. If information is missing or the amounts do not add up, the photo stays pending so you can retry without adding uncertain figures to your balance.

AVOID REPEATED RECORDS
FinAI checks document identity before saving. When it detects an invoice or payslip that may already be registered, it warns you and lets you open the existing record.

KEEP THE FULL TAX BREAKDOWN
One invoice can contain several tax rates, exempt amounts, zero-rated items, or withholdings. FinAI keeps the components printed on the document instead of reducing them to one percentage. You can review and edit each value whenever needed.

ADD RECORDS AND ASK NATURALLY
Type or dictate phrases such as “I spent $20 on transport” or “I received my salary.” You can also ask how much you spent, which income you received, or what your balance is. Calculations use your saved records and indicate when a currency conversion is unavailable.

GOOGLE DRIVE AND GOOGLE SHEETS
With Premium, you can sync data to Google Sheets and automatically store expense and income photos in Drive. Encrypted automatic backups contain data and Drive references; photos sync separately to prevent oversized backups.

ENCRYPTED, RECOVERABLE BACKUPS
Export a password-protected .finai file. Choose a data-only backup or a complete copy with photos. Backups preserve records, products, history, tax settings, and the identifiers needed to retrieve linked images.

PRIVACY AND CONTROL
Your records and history are stored on your device. AI features send only the text or document you ask Gemini to process, using the API key you configure. Drive and Sheets are used only when you connect your Google account and authorize those features.

What’s new

Restored direct invoice, receipt and payslip recording from the chat. Incomplete breakdowns or mismatched amounts no longer block saving or show a pending-document notice. The extracted amount, available details and duplicate detection are preserved. Save retries now reuse the existing extraction.
