Meshtastic is a tool for using Android devices with open-source, off-grid mesh radios. This app is the main client for the Meshtastic project, allowing you to manage your mesh devices and communicate with other users.

it's very buggy especially detecting devices. I build/deploy nodes and I swear it's a crapshoot if it'll even detect the device despite being inches away. I'm no noob, not using weird hardware either. everything from Hleltec v3/4, ThinkNode M5, Tdecks I'll be lucky if half populate. most of the time I have to USB which can be problematic especially if the node is up high. I appreciate y'alls hard work in the app just pointing it out.

User Interface had improved, user interface functionality had got worse. When you randomly have all of your bluetooth mesh devices dissappear in the app, along with Network Devices and it sits and spins, it causes ypu to shutdown the app, clear bluetooth cache and hope the bluetooth comes back up. additionally have to force shut down app and reopen. Just saying, it slows us down when we have to do all of that.

The app doesn't send messages from mobile. Every time I try to send messages from the app to my device over Bluetooth, it times out of attempts. However, when I send messages from my device, my app can see them. This is a major flaw in the app and need critical work to be used. Also, for those told to use discord, be careful as discord support try to scam people out of money using crypto wallets.
