I've been a long time user of smart plugs integrated with Amazon Alexa. My original supplier of choice stopped supporting their devices, so I had to replace 20 of them. I choose Kasa plugs and switches. I am so happy. The installation and programming was a breeze. The Kasa devices are fast and reliable. The app is intuitive and a pleasure to use. I could not recommend Kasa more highly.

Functionality for my LED light strips keeps getting worse instead of better. I think they made a mistake by expanding it to cover their other products like cameras. They should have made it separate apps for each product. Issues with the programmable stuff started long ago and I stopped using the programs, like alternating Christmas colors for example. Currently, brightness control has been inoperable for weeks, and I'm stuck on a random brightness level.

App crashes in the background. To conserve battery power, I frequently get notifications to put the app in "deep sleep" from my device health monitor. Otherwise, I find it very helpful to be able to control and view the cameras remotely. I have healthcare workers who come and go throughout the week with my son, so it's comforting that I can check on him at any time when my husband and I are away from home for errands and such.
