For some reason my Amazon dot app won't recognize my smart switch for my kitchen light, but will recognize my smart light bulbs? I never had this problem before until the last update. Very frustrated! Please fix! *** it works now after update*** 11/16/17
The best internet of things application.
It just works unlike some other apps.
Overall I am very impressed by what TP-Link have done here. The bulbs are high quality and the wifi works perfectly for me. There are two things I would ask for in future updates: 1. The ability to group multiple bulbs together and set brightness/colour etc simultaneously, so a set of four bulbs in one room could all be set to the exact same colour and the exact same brightness with a single press 2. The ability to set brightness and colour using numerical values, not just sliders. I can do this for brightness via Google Home but having these options in the app would be perfect.
At first, the app was difficult to set up and use, but once configured I really like the tool. I can easily manage my schedule and control my devices. It integrates well with Alexa and I use it daily. The downside seems to be when the network is down (I have Comcast so that happens frequently) controlling the devices is impossible.
