This app used to be solid and helpful. The problem is it is very off and on, some months and some years it works flawlessly identifying songs in seconds. Other times it can't identify anything, new or old. It will scan for a long time and then tell you it can't find it or hear it. Doesn't matter how loud or how much of the song is clear or how close the speaker is to the music it just DOES NOT WORK. Sorry to give it a bad review but also very much not sorry and feels justified.

it feels like this app barely even functions anymore. I constantly get the "sorry, something went wrong" message and have to restart the app... if that even helps. there are several songs that now just no longer open at all no matter what I do. still 3 stars because it works well enough when it does actually work, I guess.

I love this app, I'm also old enough to remember recording tapes or saving up and buying a cassette listening to it or a compact disc and they would always come with the lyrics in the fold out. This app and company have been around for quite some time and been solid I did wonder on a couple of songs if there was a way to submit a fix but only on a few slang terms that not many people catch unless you knew the lyrics prior. solid app for all your lyric needs
