About this app

If you suffer from migraines, IBS, heartburn, or suspect you have some other food intolerance (celiac disease, lactose intolerance, etc.), most books and doctors will recommend that you start keeping a food diary or food journal. With a food diary, you track the things you eat as well as your symptoms. Over time you can use this data to help determine what your triggers are and what foods to avoid. This application removes the need to carry a separate notebook and pen or pencil and allows you to keep this log directly on your phone or tablet.

Features:
* Daily log of food and symptoms
* Autocompletes entries to quickly enter common meals
* Search for something before you eat it to see if it might have caused you trouble in the past
* Custom categories so you can track additional things like exercise, medication, stress or anxiety level, etc.
* Export in CSV and XLS format for processing, archiving, or printing to bring to a doctor or dietitian

A simple daily diary to help you keep track of various activities, foods, etc. & quickly search to compare how they made you feel. It's not a fancy app with sorting or reporting capabilities, but it has been very useful for quite some time now.

4/30/2021: Still using and still love it. Searching to see if Geoff has a todo list app. 7/2018 on Galaxy J7 Prime. Android Version 7. Still works fine. Can add and edit categories all except the first one which says "Uncategorized". Not a problem though. Just a note to developer. Earlier review: Since I use this wonderful and simple app constantly I'm willing to beta test updates. Galaxy Note 3

There's not currently a way to change the background color, but you should be able to choose new category colors. (It would've tried to automatically pick similar but darker ones, but it's not an exact science) Can you please contact me over email with more detail on your issue with the categories screen and I'll try to sort it out quickly.

This app is exactly what I wanted which was to record what I ate and any symptoms I had. You can edit, you can add the exact time. It has an activity option but I don't use this. I haven't tried the export option either but I'd recommend this app for doing what it says it'll do.
