• See who is Here Now at an event you joined, even after you leave the app (uses a background location notification)

When you join a G2G that is happening right now and you are at the event, Get2Getha can keep a “Here Now” location service running in the background. A persistent notification stays on screen so your location can update after you leave the app. That is how friends at the same event see who is Here Now, and how Nearby G2Gers stay current. The service starts only for an active event you are part of and you are near, and it stops when that event ends. Can be disabled completely within the app from Settings or you can turn location access off in Android settings at any time.
