HENRY SHUKMAN teaches mindfulness and awakening practices to a wide range of students from all traditions and walks of life. Henry is an authorized Zen Master in the Sanbo Zen lineage, and is the Spiritual Director of Mountain Cloud Zen Center in Santa Fe, New Mexico. His struggles and traumatic experiences as a youth, combined with a spontaneous awakening experience at 19, paved the way for Henry to develop a well-rounded approach to meditation.

The positive impact on my life has been transformational and indescribable. I've been meditating since 2016, participated in several 10 day silent meditation retreats and used a couple of other apps. They all add something different and useful but Henry Shukman's instruction and how The Way is constructed has brought it all together for me. Thank you to the whole team at The Way for this gift.

Best guided meditation app I've found - a skillful blend of insight/vipassana and zen techniques that make it accessible to beginners and long time practitioners alike. I've personally worked with this app regularly for the past year and renewed my subscription because its still guiding and teaching me each week that I use it and I've been meditating for over a decade.

Following 'The Way', has been a pivotal time in my life. After many years of wanting to start meditation, I finally decided to try 'The Way' after hearing Henry Shukman speaking on a podcast. I absolutely loved his gentle and wise manner. The journey has been so surprising in so many ways. it's a gentle, clearly guided pathway that has brought peace, clarity and a gentle self reflection.
