About this app

Nettle Neo is the field companion app for Nettle, the AI-assisted risk engineering platform for commercial insurers. It is built for surveyors and risk engineers who carry out site inspections and need their work to hold up in poor connectivity.

Nettle Neo requires an account on a Nettle workspace provided by your organisation. There is no public sign-up.

Work your inspections
- Browse your assigned inspections in a list or on a map
- Open an inspection to see its details, buildings and progress

Capture evidence
- Take photos, record voice notes and add text notes
- File evidence against a specific building, or capture into an inbox and triage it later
- Evidence is saved on the device first and uploaded when you are online

Complete surveys
- Fill in structured survey question flows, with autosave as you go
- Request AI-suggested answers drawn from the evidence you have captured

Review AI output
- Read AI-generated insights for each inspection
- View and review recommendations before they reach the final report

Built for the field
- Offline first: capture evidence and record answers without a connection; changes queue on the device and sync when you reconnect
- Secure by default: encrypted local storage, credentials in the Android Keystore, and support for multi-factor authentication
- Multi-language support driven by your workspace settings

How it connects
Nettle Neo connects to your organisation's own Nettle deployment. On first launch you enter your workspace identifier, then sign in with the credentials your administrator issued. Your assigned inspections, surveys and evidence stay in sync with the Nettle web platform your back-office team uses.
