Every resident is one specific person, written like a character in a good novel rather than assembled from traits. A mail carrier on a county route. THEY WRITE FIRST
Their week runs whether or not you open the app. Things happen to them while you are away, and they will tell you about it, sometimes before you think to ask. You will come back to a message you did not prompt.
