Nuro is an eating-recovery app for adults, built around one idea: what moves recovery forward is eating regularly, and a number on a screen does not help you do that.
So Nuro does not count calories. There is no calorie total, no macro score, no red and green judgement of what you ate, and no streak that resets when you have a hard day.
WHAT IT DOES INSTEAD
Shows the shape of your day. The meals you planned, the ones that happened, and the ones still ahead.
Asks how a meal left you feeling, in a few taps, so patterns you can actually use build up over time.
Logs a meal from a photo or a sentence. No weighing, no measuring, no food database to search.
Shows a plate, not grams, when you want to know whether a meal was enough. Proportions and food groups, scaled up if you are restoring weight or training hard.
Keeps a private journal with gentle prompts, including guided ways to write when a blank page is too much.
WORKING WITH YOUR CARE TEAM
If you see a dietitian, therapist or doctor, they can give you a connect code. Before you agree to anything you see exactly what they can and cannot see, and you can end it at any time. Connecting is optional. Nuro works on its own.
A COACH THAT WILL NOT COUNT
Nuro includes an AI coach you can talk to between appointments. It is a supportive presence, not a clinician, and it will not hand you numbers, targets, or diet advice.
WHAT NURO IS NOT
Nuro is not a weight-loss app and not a diet app. It cannot diagnose anything, it does not replace treatment, and it is not an emergency service. If something you write suggests you are in crisis, Nuro points you to people who can help right away.
PRIVACY
Your health data is used to run the service and nothing else. It is never sold, never used for advertising, and never used to train AI models. Journal entries stay private to you unless you choose to share them with your care team.
Nuro is made by Pippa LLC.
