About this app

Wakey is the alarm you can't snooze your way out of.

Set your wake-up time, pick a mission, and the alarm keeps going until you actually complete it. No snooze button. No swiping it away half-asleep and going back under.

TEN MISSIONS
• Math — solve problems until your brain switches on
• Push-Ups — your camera counts the reps
• Squats — same idea, different muscles
• Affirmation — say it out loud; the app listens
• Bible Verse — read a verse aloud to dismiss
• Devotional — photograph a scripture page, then read from it
• Item Search — go find a specific object and photograph it
• Picture of Sky — step outside and prove you did
• Make Bed — photograph the made bed
• Touch Grass — exactly what it sounds like

Photo missions are checked automatically, so a picture of your screen won't get you back to sleep.

BUILD A STREAK
Every morning counts as a win or a loss. Wakey tracks your current streak, your best streak, and the badges you unlock on the way. Break it and you start from zero — which turns out to be surprisingly motivating.

GOAL LOCK
Commit to a wake time and Wakey stops you quietly pushing it later, when you're tired and reasonable and about to talk yourself out of it. You set the rule while you meant it; the app holds you to it.

BUILT TO ACTUALLY WAKE YOU
• Volume ramps up gradually so you wake rather than jolt
• Full-screen alarm that takes over the lock screen
• Alarms live on your device and work offline
• Sign in to sync alarms, history and streaks to a new phone
• Light and dark themes
