Welcome to the Life After Pornography Coach App! My name is Dr. Cameron Staley, PhD. I’m a clinical psychologist who has spent many years researching and helping others overcome their struggle with unwanted pornography viewing. I want to join your Flight Crew, help you get back in that Pilot’s chair, and guide you on your way to soaring beyond your struggle with unwanted pornography viewing and into your life!

The Life After Pornography Coach App was designed as a simplified easy to follow guide to help you apply principles to overcome unwanted pornography use. This app includes:

- A guided 10 week course on overcoming unwanted pornography use
- Over 80 videos helping you understand why pornography is a part of your life and the steps you can take to overcome it
- 6 Meditation assignments to help you gain stronger self control
- Flight Crew - a message board & support group with other LAP members
- Journal to reflect and apply principles taught throughout the program
- Tools to help guide you and make sense of various components of the LAP program

This app is based on principles from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) which is one of the only research supported approaches for reducing unwanted pornography viewing. This app is a comprehensive online self-directed program that is based on ACT principles and resembles the same approach I would use if I were working with an individual in therapy.

I have to say this is a different approach to my issues with porn. Yeah it seems mediocre at first, but so far, everything seems to have a meaning to it. At least for as long as i have been using it. The good in this so far is there seems to be a good breakdown of skills and techniques rather than anecdotal lectures and beating around the bush to supplement "guru talk" in my opinion. I like that it cuts to the chase and is genuine.

This app has been useful after going through the LAP course. It's wonderful to have all content, journal, emotion check in, and mindfulness info all in one place. It's also super easy to go back and re-read or listen. Definitely recommend this to everyone

Excellent, upbeat app that's far more than helping you overcome an unwanted habit. I've learned how to better regulate my emotions and understand what goes on inside my head.
