The criticisms I have seen about this app are, in my experience, no longer valid. I have been using the app in Germany for 8 months now and have had no problems. I would say that the amount of effort needed to submit receipts and to scan all purchases is poorly rewarded.

So I have been scanning and got some points already. I was so excited to earn and get something from my points but then suddenly today, I can no longer open my app. It says language file is not available. So I updated it just to fix the issue but nothing changed. I am so sad. I wasted my time scanning every item from what I've purchased and even answering some surveys. What a waste of time. I wonder how I can redeem my points back.

There's many problems with this app. The worst one right now is that it takes too long before you can even begin to scan your groceries. The app has my 'favourite stores' saved - why do I need to type in their phone number every single time? Then comes 5 more questions and a request to scan or upload my receipt, which does no good. Allt this can be asked after I've scanned everything, not while the frozens are thawing.
