Wholphin is an open-source, third-party Android TV client for Jellyfin. It aims to provide a great app user experience optimized for TV viewing.

This is not a fork of the official client. Wholphin's user interface and controls have been written completely from scratch. Wholphin supports playing media using ExoPlayer and MPV.

Please note: In order to use Wholphin, you must have your own Jellyfin server set up and configured!

Wholphin supports Movies, TV Shows, other videos, plus Live TV & DVR.

Thank you for all your hard work on this! I had been hoping to move away from Emby for a couple of years now since they started promoting their "universal" Android app (which has been a huge downgrade), but the official Jellyfin app was still missing too much. Wholphin has finally given me the experience I've been looking for. I really appreciate the smooth and modern UI, settings and customization, and the PIN feature that actually works.

My go to app for Jellyfin. The presentation, flexibility of various settings and overall feel of the app, makes it a true winner. Nice work.

Best jellyfin client. With the last update you can now select different subtitle styles for hdr and sdr content which is a really nice feature. Only thing missing (for me) is the ability to hide empty folders. Other than that it's just perfect.
