About this app
HighSlack keeps the business side of a salmon season straight — fish tickets, processor settlements, crew shares, and taxes, all in one app. Built by a Bristol Bay fisherman, and built to keep working when the signal doesn't.
FISH TICKETS
Log every delivery — species, weight, price, tender — right from the beach. Or scan a paper ticket with your phone and HighSlack reads the numbers off it. Your season total adds up as you go.
PROCESSOR SETTLEMENTS
Upload your processor statement and reconcile it against what you actually delivered. Catch short-paid tickets, missed price adjustments, and post-season retro before you sign off on the settlement.
CREW SHARES & 1099s
Set each crew member's share and let HighSlack run the split — gross, or net after expenses, your call. It tracks advances, prints crew settlement sheets, and builds the 1099-NEC numbers at tax time so you're not rebuilding the math in a spreadsheet come January.
EXPENSES & TAX PREP
Log fuel, groceries, gear, and boat costs, or connect your bank to pull them in automatically. When the season closes, your Schedule C totals are already done.
WEATHER & TIDES
NOAA tides and the marine forecast for your district, plus an opener-on-the-tide planner — see where the water will be when the period opens.
