About this app

Eight things Glimly Polish does for a crowded polish drawer:

1. Every bottle stands on a real-looking shelf
Each polish is drawn as a little bottle in its own colour, with the finish showing through: shimmer sparkles, glitter flecks, chrome bands, a jelly glow or a flat matte body. Name, brand, colour family, fill level and the day you opened it are all there at a glance.

2. Seven finishes and ten colour families, sorted your way
Creme, Shimmer, Glitter, Jelly, Matte, Chrome and Magnetic. Filter the shelf by finish or by colour family, search by name or brand, and sort by name, brand, newest or colour order.

3. A colour picker built for polish
Pick the exact shade with hue, saturation and brightness sliders, or start from a row of preset swatches. The colour family is suggested automatically, and you can change it with one tap.

4. A manicure log that remembers the details
Record the date, the base coat, colour and top coat from your shelf, the number of coats and the nail shape: Round, Square, Squoval, Almond or Oval. A small preview paints the nails in the shades you picked.

5. Find out how long a manicure really lasts
When the first chip appears, tap "Chipped today" or set the chip day later. Each entry then shows how many days it lasted.

6. A wishlist that turns into a shelf
Note the shades you spotted, where you saw them and how much you want them. When one comes home, "Got it" moves it straight onto your shelf.

7. Insights drawn from your own habits
See bottles per colour family, your five most-worn shades and the average wear time for each finish, all as simple charts.

8. Tonight's shade, for when you can't choose
Shuffle through the bottles you haven't worn in 30 days or more. The card flips to reveal a pick, and "Log it" starts a new manicure entry with that colour.

Bonus: light and dark themes follow your phone's setting, and a few sample bottles and manicures are ready on first launch so the app never opens empty.

Your collection, your log and your wishlist are kept on this phone, and the whole app runs without a connection.
