Not precise enough. Certain albums are difficult to get right. For example, I have the 3 vinyl versions of Beatles Abbey Road and I got different results scanning each disc. I'm still not sure I have the correct one. For my 96 "White Album I found I could scan the matrix and it found it, but that doesn't work much). It has pretty much sent me to Discogs. no label scan, but way more detailed, has a barcode search for newer stuff, and is free.

This could be a handy tool, but also dangerous for a new collector. I would do the work to find out if your records are valuable, especially if you plan on selling them. I've been collecting for 30 years and I am still learning. This app is a fun novelty to play with but I will be canceling before the free trial is up. Discogs and a little knowledge is way bettr choice!

Excellent - I have a massive vinyl collection mainly UK Indie from the 90s. Been wanting to find out values for a long time but didn't know how to. This app is brilliant. I have a very rare Oasis album and almost fell through the floor when I realised it's value !! I'm only half way through my collection and already have in excess if 4k worth. My only gripe is that it defaults back to US dollars every time I open the app. It needs to stay on my chosen currency (UK pound GBP)
