Your app is superb :D 2D drawing is flawless without glitch or blocking and it recognise my pen on galaxy note 4 so i have cool option when sellecting stuff in drawing and work without problem on samsung tab even when i draw big drawing with lot of details.. And i love that you do not force cloud sync because i prefer save it localy.. Only thing for now that i'm not able to find is block editor, can someone help me how i can edit blocks that i have created?? And i'm not find option or posibility to edit viewport in layout.. Thanks in advance
This review is for the free version Background:Construction, haven't used CAD in 11 years, started using another open source desktop program parametric(3D) modeler two months ago. USAGE: 2 days so far CONS:Lacks help documentation. PROS: Commands at easy reach, split screen(viewports). Similar to leading softwares therefore easier learning curve. Can export and save to different file formats (some with watermarks of course). Doesn't heavily drain battery. CASE STUDY: Drew a 2D residential building foundation floor plan from scratch between 14:00 to 00:30. No lags, no glitches.
This app is decent but doesn't explain the functions. There are no instructions and certain things you will not figure out how to do. Needs better help system. I haven't figured out how to color objects solid or remove text. Also when I hit delete layer it says I can't delete layer.
Good mobile CAD So far so good...not to familiar with CAD more of an old school...paper and pencil draftsman. Its nice for taking along with me to through ideas down into design. I just wish there was some sort of user manual that came with the app so I could brush up on things I dont understand....such manipulating a 2D design into 3D or how things get filled and colored. The example .dwg were very complex but I cant see how all that was accomplished. Over all nice job!
This is probably one of the best, most intuitive CAD programs I've come across for any any system, let alone Android. Creating a drawing is much quicker on this than on PC if you can believe it. A couple of issues I am having with it. 1) No help file. If you know CAD, then this shouldn't be a problem. But 2) The program is mostly free but there is a Software as a Service version as well. No idea what you get in the SAAS version and I can't find anything on it except it is $0.99/month. 3) No idea how to get block shading. Maybe this is part of the SAAS model? 4) A mysterious search feature. Nothing comes up when I search, bit I can look for blocks. Again, possibly a SAAS thing. 5) 3D editing is kind of odd. You can only input X and Y axes, even in 3D mode. There is no input for the Z axis with the exception of the first point. The workaround it so shift your view to the demintions you want to work in and then shift back to the 3D view. This changes the orientation of the X, Y, and Z axis.
Great! Accept, I am having issues with Layout viewports. Can't seem to get into them and then pan in the model. Tapping multiple times sometimes gets me into them, but generally doesn't. Once miraculously in the Viewport, panning is done with two fingers but simultaneously zooms which changes the view scale which is certainly a bad thing. Also, resizing viewports with control points changes the scale of the view while maintaining the visible model content, what it should do is make more or less model content visible while maintaining the view scale. In short, the viewports need more work. Very stable and functional app otherwise.
