About this app

GoKiddo turns the phone into a tool, not the destination.

Built for families with kids ages 5–15, GoKiddo helps parents turn everyday activities, routines, and responsibilities into opportunities for confidence, independence, and personal growth.

Parents assign activities. Kiddos complete them and can add a short reflection when requested. Parents review each completion and approve it before GoBits and a badge are awarded.

Nothing is awarded automatically. Every approval is deliberate, and parents remain in control.

TURN EFFORT INTO MEANINGFUL REWARDS

GoBits are GoKiddo’s virtual reward points.

Parents decide what GoBits mean at home:
• Earn 1,000 GoBits for movie night

• Save toward a new game or family outing

• Work toward extra screen time

• Create a reward that matters to your family

GoBits have no cash value and cannot be purchased. Each family decides what GoBits are worth, so GoKiddo adapts to your household, not the other way around.

GoKiddo supports development across eight categories:

Activities can include finishing a chapter book, taking a digital break, learning to write a check, helping a neighbor, completing a first coding project, giving a short family presentation, building something outdoors, or writing a heartfelt thank-you note.

GoKiddo is designed to recognize effort across the whole child, not just household chores.

AGE-APPROPRIATE ACTIVITIES AND BADGES

Activities and badges are organized across three age groups:
• Ages 5–8

• Ages 9–11

• Ages 12–15

Kiddos can build a collection of badges that reflects what they have completed, practiced, and learned.

GoKiddo is parent-operated by design.

Parents:
• Create and manage the family account

• Add kiddo profiles

• Assign activities

• Request reflections when appropriate

• Review completed activities

• Approve GoBits and badges

• Create family reward goals

• Track progress over time

Children do not create independent accounts.

The Free plan includes:
• 1 parent account

• 1 kiddo profile

• Built-in age-appropriate activities

• Full badge library for the kiddo’s age group

The Family subscription includes:
• Up to 2 parent accounts

• Up to 5 kiddo profiles

• Unlimited custom activities

• Unlimited custom goals

• Full age-appropriate badge library for every kiddo

• GoBits goal tracking

• Reward and activity history

• Weekly progress summaries

Monthly and annual subscription options are available. Eligible new subscribers can begin with a 7-day free trial.

Subscriptions are managed through Google Play and renew automatically unless cancelled through Google Play subscription settings.

PRIVACY-FIRST FAMILY DESIGN

GoKiddo has:
• No advertising

• No public profiles

• No in-app messaging

• No social feeds

• No sale of personal information

BUILT BY PARENTS

GoKiddo was created by Tim and Valerie Cross, two parents in Vancouver, Washington, who wanted a more intentional way to connect effort, family values, and meaningful rewards.
