HOW TO HAIL WITH ARRO:

At the bottom of the home
screen, tap the box labeled "I NEED A TAXI". Next Tap
"Where to go?" You will see a dropoff screen where you can
enter Final Destination. You'll receive a fare estimate, route
preview, and ETA of the nearest available driver. When you're ready
to hail, tap "Order a Taxi" at the bottom of the screen to
be matched with a driver. When the ride is over, the fare is paid
automatically with the card on file or another payment method of your
choosing. If you are not logged in or do not have an account we will
still provide a free fare estimate for you to compare with other ride
services as our courtesy.


HOW
TO PAY WITH ARRO:

If you are already in a taxi that you didn’t hail with our app, you
can still use ARRO for faster payment! From the home screen, tap “I'M
ALREADY IN A TAXI”, then enter the 7-digit check-in code displayed
at the top of the taxi’s screen to pair the taximeter with your
ARRO account. At the end of your trip, your fare will be paid
automatically and your receipt will be emailed to you!

Ratings and reviews

When it works, it's great. When it doesn't, it is just a waste of time. Sadly this app is not reliable. Only works about half the time over past 5+ years. Most recently, upon landing at O'Hare, the app forgot my credit card, and after entering it again, the app crashes when I click 'im in taxi'. Rebooted phone , reinstalled app 2x. Still just crashes when I try to check in and pay. It's not that hard guys. Make an app that works, if you want to actually compete with ride share.

IT WORKS AGAIN! In my opinion, this is the best taxi app because it's free and it works. However, I was not able to use the app for over a year because I got a "sorry, there was a problem" error message every time I opened it. Rather than telling me to re-enter my credit card info, the app just kept giving this default error message. Tech support couldn't figure it out either. I would have used Arro dozens more times if it had worked. A lot of reviews are negative because of this exact problem. Seems like it would be an easy fix.

I had the app for a couple years. I haven't used it in a while because I wasn't taking many taxis. I tried to sign in, forgot password so I used the option to change it. I received the confirmation number and entered it, the app gives me an error but goes to the next page to update password. I enter the new password but it freezes, every time I do this. I never was able to sign in again so I removed the app and will use Curb app when I can now. App needs an upgrade. It just doesn't work.
